The Farmington River offers kayaking and canoeing. The International Skating Center of Connecticut is home in Simsbury and provides training for national and international Olympic champions.
Simsbury state parks include; Penwood State Park, Stratton Brook State Park and Talcott Mountain State Park, featuring the 165-foot Heublein Tower which offers a panoramic view of the stunning community and neighboring towns. Talcott Mountain also has mountain climbing and picnicking areas.
