About the Architect
Mrs. Simona E Tudor is the lead partner and she has an extensive experience in master planning, programming to conceptual design and supervision of construction. She studied Architecture in her native country Romania from where she escaped in 1976 to pursue her dream of practicing architecture in a free country. Licensed in the state of Connecticut she is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
Using her diversified architectural design expertise and hands-on experience as backdrop, Mrs. Tudor established her own firm of design and built in 1992. Since then she was involved in the designing and building of several high-end custom residences in Greenwich, Ridgefield, New Canaan and Westport. Other projects worked on include the restoration and remodeling of historic 18th and early 19th century historic residences in New Canaan and Greenwich.
Her vision and design philosophy respects the integrity of the building and natural environment and recognizes that each building site is unique. She brings to each design knowledge and understanding of architecture and fresh and inventive design.
