The Community Builders, Inc. (TCB) and the Hartford Housing Authority (HHA) are jointly undertaking the comprehensive revitalization of Dutch Point under the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) HOPE VI program. They are working in conjunction with the Connecticut Housing Finance Agency, the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development, and the City of Hartford, and with special technical assistance provided by Co-opportunity, Inc., to provide special below market rate pricing for The Townhomes at Dutch Point. The Townhomes will be a mixed-income condominium community that at full build-out may be up to 58 units.* Up to Twenty-seven of these units will be for purchase by qualified buyers, a combination of two and three bedroom flats and townhouses. To qualify, a buyer’s total household income must be at or below 80% of the area median income.
