About the Builder
Doug Buttendorf and Irene Buttendorf are the owners of Buttendorf Builders. Doug Buttendorf has been a builder since 1974 when he founded Buttendorf Building and Remodeling of Fairfield County. Doug is a third generation builder from a family that has been in the industry since the early 1900’s. His son Andrew joined the business in 2002 making the fourth generation.
For thirty years Doug has served clients and Architects in the Fairfield County area. He has distinguished himself through emphasis on effective client/contractor communication while delivering high quality attention to details and construction. Doug has specialized in intricately, architecturally -designed projects and shoreline construction. Cranberry Meadows will showplace this attention to quality design and construction.
Irene Kearns Buttendorf spent thirty years in banking before joining Doug and contributing her financial experience to the company. Irene is a former Division Manager of Commercial Banking lenders who provided financing to some of Connecticut’s premier businesses and industries.
This team will bring professional integrity and superior construction of only seven unique homes in this small environmentally sensitive private neighborhood.
